Job Overview

The Senior Manufacturing Sales Manager position at ICC INC is responsible for closing stainless-steel vessel B2B sales and initiating contact with potential and current customers to generate and qualify leads. This role requires building new client bases, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and meeting monthly and quarterly quotas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain extensive contacts in liquid process industries that use stainless steel vessels.
  • Prospect and develop business opportunities in the stainless-steel vessel market.
  • Build client trust through industry knowledge and solve client challenges.
  • Identify and pursue new business development opportunities.
  • Meet with customers to help solve their problems and differentiate our offerings.
  • Establish relationships with potential customers and secure contracts that achieve assigned sales quotas.
  • Manage existing customer accounts and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
  • Prepare bids, proposals, and price quotations that reflect relevant sales terms and product delivery dates.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (engineering degree preferred) or equivalent sales/business experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in tank/mixer vessel or related manufacturing sales.
  • Knowledge/previous sales experience with steel and tank fabrication.
  • Understanding of tank fabrication requirements and pricing levels to meet market demand and maximize profit.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team-based environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain quality work under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of Hubspot or other equivalent CRM systems.
  • Ability to work with marketing department to support sales campaigns and objectives.
  • Competence in data entry/lead tracking, engaging in LinkedIn and other social media.
  • Motivated intrinsically and extrinsically.
  • Willingness to be constantly challenged.
  • High level of conscientiousness and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with clients and vendors.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic.
  • Motivated by the prospect of hunting and closing new business.
Working Conditions

This position requires regular travel to client locations and ICC office locations. The physical demands of this role include occasional standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
