Job Title: Sales Compensation Analyst

Western Union is seeking a highly skilled Sales Compensation Analyst to join our team. As a Sales Compensation Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing sales compensation program support to the Compensation team and our Strategic HR Business Partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide analytical support for the sales compensation program, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Receive, research, and respond to inquiries concerning sales compensation related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Participate in a variety of Human Resources and Compensation related analytical projects including the annual sales compensation planning cycle.
  • Manage the monthly global sales compensation accrual process.
  • Assist with determining the effectiveness of sales compensation components, rules, and programs.
  • Update and maintain the global sales compensation governance guidelines.
  • Assist with job matches and survey data, provide survey industry market/compensation survey submissions as needed in collaboration with the Compensation team.
  • Work closely with HRBP and Talent Acquisition teams on proposals for new hire offers, promotions, and market adjustments.
  • Review survey results and proactively provide the analysis of market trends and recommendations for any changes in our structure or individual adjustments based on the data.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to develop and communicate HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in regular market analysis to ensure the competitiveness of the organization's sales compensation.
  • Assist in conducting studies for specific functional areas; analyzes market trends; completes statistical reports and assists in the development of recommendations and action plans designed to attract, retain and reward employees.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of previous experience in sales compensation design and administration, prior experience in sales operations or sales enablement a plus.
  • Experience with an automated HRIS system, preferably Workday, is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of CRM experience, highly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint) and intermediate skills in Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • High degree of attention to detail and follow-through skills a must; ability to see big picture.
  • Strong mathematical, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Sound logic, reasoning skills to identify, develop, evaluate alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Strong technical aptitude (advance computer skills).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
