Position Overview:


The Clinical Psychology Associate II will support Psychologists in delivering therapeutic services, overseeing cases, and managing patient care for both inpatient and outpatient scenarios as directed by the clinic's leadership.

The individual will work collaboratively with department personnel and supervisors, along with other relevant departments as necessary. This role will assist Behavioral Psychology professionals and engage in systematic research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver clinical services including the creation and execution of treatment strategies, tracking patient development, and ensuring accurate documentation of patient records.

2. Oversee clinical supervision and case management for outpatient individuals.

3. Provide supportive services to the families of outpatient clients.

4. Engage in research endeavors focused on the evaluation and treatment of behavioral disorders.

5. Offer guidance and training for trainees and staff within the Brief Treatment Clinic, as required.

6. Participate in necessary administrative, clinical, and training meetings.

Required Qualifications:

Licensure:
Must possess approval from the Maryland Board of Examiners of Psychologists to function as a "Registered Psychology Associate."

Certifications:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is preferred.

Educational Background:
A Master's degree in psychology is mandatory.

A degree in applied behavior analysis or a related discipline is highly advantageous.

Professional Experience:
A minimum of five years of experience in a multidisciplinary environment working with both typical and neurodiverse children is essential.

At least two years of experience in behavior analysis assessment and treatment is required.

Experience in conducting research and disseminating findings through professional conferences, peer-reviewed publications, seminars, etc., is necessary.
