Position Overview:

The Clinical Psychology Specialist II will support Psychologists in delivering therapeutic services, oversight, and case management for both inpatient and outpatient cases as directed by the leadership of the clinical service or department. This role involves collaboration with departmental staff and other relevant units within the organization. The incumbent will engage in the recruitment, oversight, and evaluation of Behavioral Psychology personnel while also contributing to systematic research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver clinical services, including the formulation and execution of treatment strategies, monitoring patient advancements, and maintaining accurate patient records through timely documentation.
  2. Oversee clinical supervision and case management for both inpatient and outpatient clients.
  3. Provide supportive clinical services to the families of patients.
  4. Engage in research projects focused on the evaluation and treatment of behavioral disorders.
  5. Assist in the recruitment, supervision, and assessment of Behavioral Psychology staff for designated programs.
  6. Offer guidance and training to Behavioral Psychology personnel.
  7. Participate in administrative, clinical, and training meetings as required.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold approval as a Psychology Associate from the relevant regulatory board.
  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is preferred.

Educational Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in psychology is mandatory.
  • A degree in applied behavior analysis is highly valued.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in a multidisciplinary environment working with both typical and special needs children is essential.
  • At least two years of experience in behavior analysis assessment and intervention is required.
  • Experience in conducting research and disseminating findings through professional conferences, peer-reviewed publications, and seminars is necessary.
