Bilingual Human Resources Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Cornerstone Building Brands. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting the business by providing strategic HR guidance and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and track employee disciplinary actions, providing coaching and guidance to managers as needed
  • Act as an employee relations specialist, providing support and guidance to employees and managers
  • Lead Employee Engagement activities and drive the overall Employee Experience
  • Ensure compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification and periodically audit Forms I-9
  • Distribute and monitor employee performance evaluations, ensuring timely completion and accuracy
  • Update and maintain eligible salary adjustments and increases based on performance evaluations
  • Handle employee relations counseling and provide support to employees and managers
  • Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars
  • Assist in evaluating reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to established goals
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Facilitate or provide training to the workforce, including orientation
  • Maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required
  • Bilingual - fluent in both Spanish and English
  • 5 years of human resource experience in a manufacturing/production setting
  • Strong employee relations experience, creating and delivering people practices that develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Experience in performing and managing HR investigations and reporting
  • HR experience in managing and implementing programs and processes related to employee training, labor relations, affirmative action, employment equity, benefits management, onboarding, etc.
  • Strong technical acumen in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Very detailed and accurate
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to relate to individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Emotional intelligence
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of employees
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification preferred
