About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Westlake Services. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Performance and Essential Materials staff groups and manufacturing sites, with a focus on the Longview, Washington location.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide day-to-day HR support, ensuring that HR strategies are aligned with organizational objectives. You will work closely with business leaders to drive employee engagement, effective performance management, successful talent acquisition, and impactful development initiatives.

In this role, you will also be responsible for actively participating in the development and execution of HR programs, policies, and processes. You will cultivate a work environment that encourages positivity and inclusivity, and ensure that all HR initiatives are aligned with the company's overall strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR support to the Performance and Essential Materials staff groups and manufacturing sites
  • Work closely with business leaders to ensure HR strategies are aligned with organizational objectives
  • Develop and execute HR programs, policies, and processes
  • Cultivate a work environment that encourages positivity and inclusivity
  • Ensure all HR initiatives are aligned with the company's overall strategy
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Relations, Labor Relations, Human Resources, or a related field in Business Administration
  • SHRM or HRCI certified professional preferred
  • 8+ years of Human Resources or related experience, including labor relations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, with intermediate experience in Excel
  • Ability to learn new databases and applications
  • Ability to travel, approximately 20% travel to Longview, Washington and other US manufacturing locations as needed
Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, based in an open office concept. Some of the work may be required in the operating units, which can require usage of required PPE, including safety glasses and hearing protection.
