We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bell Attendant to join our team at Hilton Grand Vacations. As a key member of our Guest Services department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Greeting and Assistance: Greet guests as they arrive and depart from the property, assisting them with luggage and providing information about hotel facilities and services.
- Luggage Handling: Transport guest luggage to/from the point of arrival/departure to their assigned room and between room changes.
- Concierge Services: Assist guests with concierge-related services, including maintaining knowledge of hotel functions, local restaurants, special events, city attractions, and guest amenities.
- Bell Log Maintenance: Maintain an accurate Bell Log of guest calls and file in Bell Log Binder.
- Laundry and Dry Cleaning: Retrieve guest laundry/dry cleaning from their rooms and deliver to the appropriate location.
- Item Delivery: Deliver items to guest rooms promptly, including messages, mail, faxes, telefaxes, packages, flowers, sundry items requested by guests, gift items, guest experience amenity items, extra towels, bathrobes, and other items.
- Lobby Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the appearance of lobby areas and luggage holding room, as well as polish/clean brass luggage carts.
- Welcome Amenities: Offer Welcome Amenities to all guests, maintaining full stock of Amenity Drinks and Oshi Bori Towels, restocking racks of rocks glasses and towels, and taking old, used towels to Housekeeping for cleaning and retrieving when cleaned.
- Reader Board Maintenance: Maintain the reader board and ensure communication of arrival and departure information.
- Additional Responsibilities: Place rollaway beds and refrigerators in guest rooms as needed, pick up room service trays from guest hallways, and assist the valet team in greeting arriving and returning guests, issuing and receiving valet tickets, explaining valet procedures, and valet cars (if applicable).
- Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Experience: 1+ years of customer service experience.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to bend, stoop, walk, and lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate in English, both verbally and written.
- Hotel/Bell Experience: 1 year of hotel/bell experience highly desirable.
