Overview:
The Corporate Communications team is dedicated to articulating Vanguard's narrative with precision, relevance, and empathy across various audiences and channels. We understand our responsibility in providing clients with optimal investment opportunities, aiming to inspire, inform, and educate through our efforts. We are in search of a Social Media Content & Strategy Manager (M3) to enhance our Corporate Social Media team. In this dual-role position, you will guide a group of skilled content strategists, writers, and designers tasked with managing Vanguard's organic social media footprint while acting as a key liaison for significant internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a data-driven social media strategy to engage diverse audiences and narrate compelling stories.
- Provide counsel on leveraging social media to achieve business objectives, staying updated on the latest innovations and platform developments to inform strategic decisions.
- Foster a deep understanding of social media dynamics, ensuring content is tailored to meet audience expectations across platforms.
- While formal leadership experience is not mandatory, a background in mentoring, coaching, or training within social media roles is advantageous.

Managerial Duties:
  • Recruit, assess, and supervise team members, providing necessary guidance and training to foster their development.
  • Manage complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders, evaluating client needs through consultations and influencing decisions.
  • Lead social media marketing initiatives, ensuring communication prioritization to maximize impact on target audiences and business goals.
  • Oversee the internal review and approval process for materials, collaborating across divisions to gather feedback and ensure consistency with Vanguard's standards.
  • Enhance social media marketing effectiveness through process improvement initiatives, adapting to evolving industry standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of social media marketing practices and emerging trends, keeping senior management informed.
  • Generate campaign reports, providing actionable insights based on data analysis and presenting findings to inform social media strategies.
  • Mitigate risks associated with social media activities, conducting audits and communicating solutions to management and stakeholders.
  • Engage in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience, with two years in marketing preferred.
  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience; a graduate degree is preferred.
