Job Title: Salesforce Solutions Architect

Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize innovative approaches to create applications and select suitable technical solutions.
  • Enhance application development, upkeep, and performance by applying design patterns and leveraging established solutions, while considering collaborative development efforts.
  • Generate technical documentation including Functional Design Specifications and Deployment guides.
  • Conduct design document evaluations, peer code assessments, and recommend enhancements.
  • Serve as the primary contact for build and deployment challenges, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Independently acquire knowledge of technology, business domains, and system environments as per project requirements.
  • Engage in ERP/CRM Practice initiatives, such as creating content for case studies, fostering reusability, coordinating internal workshops, and participating in hackathons.
  • Choose the most suitable technical options for development, including the reuse, enhancement, or reconfiguration of existing components.
  • Identify recurring issues and refine the technical architecture of applications/systems.
  • Maximize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
  • Translate application/feature/component designs into development according to specifications.
  • Code, debug, test, document, and communicate the stages of product/component/feature development.
  • Validate outcomes with user representatives, integrating and commissioning the overall solution.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by providing suggestions for code refactoring and process improvements, completing deliverables ahead of schedule, and assisting client architects and product owners with design insights.
  • Boost employee engagement within project teams.
  • Learn and apply newly released technology features after conducting impact assessments.
  • Attend industry-specific conferences (if applicable) and share insights with the team.
  • Conduct peer evaluations and uphold high-quality standards for deliverables.
  • Perform technical assessments for recruiting candidates for developer/lead positions.
  • Guide and mentor a team.
  • Establish objectives for self and team in performance management systems, providing timely feedback to team members.
Performance Metrics:
  • Number of relevant technical/domain certifications obtained.
  • Compliance with processes and standards (coding standards).
  • Average turnaround time for production issues.
  • Adherence to project timelines.
  • Number of technical sessions conducted for the benefit of peers and team members.
  • Number of leads mentored and developed to lead technical teams.
Required Skills:
  • Proactively identify solutions for technical challenges.
  • Maintain technical evaluation protocols.
  • Estimate project efforts based on requirements.
  • Analyze and evaluate test results against product specifications.
  • Decompose complex issues into manageable components.
  • Collaborate with other teams, designers, and parallel practices, ensuring regular follow-ups to resolve conflicts during project execution.
  • Create and deliver impactful technical presentations.
  • Exhibit professionalism in business communications.
  • Facilitate conference calls with clients and address their inquiries.
  • Manage multiple tasks under pressure, identifying dependencies and risks while facilitating planning.
  • Build trust with clients by delivering quality work on time.
  • Actively seek and offer assistance when needed.
Technical Expertise:
  • Functional and technical design across various ERP/CRM cloud platform features and automations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of coding best practices and limitations.
  • Experience with data loading tools.
  • Proficient in production deployment and troubleshooting deployment issues.
  • Experience integrating ERP/CRM with external systems using SOAP API, REST API, etc.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Proficient in HTML/HTML5, CSS, XML, AJAX, and Web services.
  • Experience with Google APIs, jQuery or other JavaScript frameworks, and mobile development in ERP/CRM technologies.
  • Deep understanding of architecting solutions and applications on cloud infrastructures.
  • High level of expertise in the specialized area.
Essential Qualifications:
Must-Have Skills:
  • Salesforce - 10+ years of experience.
  • Stakeholder Management - 5+ years of experience.
  • Design - 10+ years of experience.
  • API integrations between Salesforce and other applications using MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar - 8+ years of experience.
  • Salesforce Lightning, Salesforce CRM - 10+ years of experience.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Other relevant skills as applicable.
