Nursing Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a Nursing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing team and ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of patients in our care.
  • Act as a liaison and communicate with the psychiatric, medical, and treatment teams.
  • Manage the center's nursing activities to assure the highest quality of nursing services.
  • Serve as a resource to the nursing personnel and the direct care staff to ensure comprehensive service provision and accurate documentation of care.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a valid license to practice nursing as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Three years (3) of nursing experience in a healthcare facility, preferably experience working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and/or psychiatric illnesses.
  • One year (1) of supervisory experience required.
  • Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office applications and data collecting/analyzing platforms.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task, to maximize efficiency.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
