POSITION SUMMARY

The Software Implementation Specialist plays a vital role in assisting clients with the deployment of Savana's software solutions. This position entails providing product knowledge, gathering requirements, configuring the software, and addressing client-reported issues throughout the implementation process. The effectiveness of this role is crucial for the successful adoption of the software by clients.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position offers a hybrid or remote work arrangement; if the candidate opts for a hybrid model, in-office attendance is typically expected from Tuesday to Thursday.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in facilitating customer software implementations, with a proven ability to apply lessons learned from past experiences.
  • Familiarity with information technology, systems analysis, and business applications.
  • Proficient in the latest operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, defect tracking tools, and capable of writing SQL queries.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with clients during critical phases of their engagement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interactions with clients and internal teams.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Analytical thinking and creativity are essential, as this role often requires innovative problem-solving approaches.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment, fostering meaningful internal relationships.
  • A self-motivated individual with excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The following activities are expected to be performed at this level:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Savana applications from both functional and technical perspectives, recognizing the system's flexibility and options for addressing complex client business processes.
  • Become proficient in configuring the system, effectively guiding clients on configuration decisions and executing those configurations to meet their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to document requirements for new features, integrations, or significant IT changes necessary for product launch. Accurately document these in a business requirements document and coordinate with product management or technical teams for implementation.
  • Possess a solid understanding of project management principles and work collaboratively within a project team to ensure successful software implementation, focusing on both task execution and financial efficiency.
  • Address client-reported issues promptly and in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs). Communicate effectively with clients regarding reported issues, helping them prioritize and navigate resolution paths.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Information Technology is preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
