Job Title: Behavior Direct Support Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Direct Support Professional to provide support to program participants in Lynnwood and Everett, WA. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing, safe, and healthful living environment for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to program participants that meets their needs, promotes community integration, and creates opportunities for personal growth.
  • Under the supervision of the House Manager, ensure that daily needs of participants are met, including personal hygiene, food preparation, house cleaning, shopping, and monitoring of health needs.
  • Assist participants with accessing the community, including transportation and arranging for transportation as needed.
  • Ensure that participants are treated with dignity and respect, and promote their ability to make decisions and exercise their rights.
  • Interact with participants, provide informal counseling and problem-solving, and attend staff meetings as required.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individual Instruction and Support Plans (IISPs) for each participant.
  • Monitor medication regimes and treatment compliance, and participate in ongoing program development and assessment.
  • Ensure the coordination of support meetings and cross-systems crisis plan development for enrolled clients with this need.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, or a counseling-related field, with a strong emphasis on working with families and community agencies.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a clinician or case manager or residential provider, with the ability to demonstrate skills in clinical assessment and treatment plans.
  • Washington State driver's license and insurable driving record required.
  • Must be able to obtain an NAR within 90 days of hire.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
