About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team at Foundations for Living. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to patients, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and behavioral interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate group activities and provide education to patients on mental health topics.
  • Assist with milieu management and ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a mental health setting, preferably as a Mental Health Technician or in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and support.
