Behavior Support Specialist

About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Direct Support Professional to provide support to program participants in Lynnwood and Everett, WA. As a key member of our team, you will work under the supervision of the House Manager to create a nurturing, safe, and healthful living environment for our participants.
Responsibilities:- Provide support to program participants that meets their needs, promotes community integration, and creates opportunities for personal growth.
- Ensure the daily needs of participants are met, including personal hygiene, food preparation, house cleaning, shopping, and monitoring of health needs.
- Assist participants with accessing the community, including transportation and arranging for transportation as needed.
- Interact with participants, provide informal counseling, and problem-solving to promote their well-being and independence.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and participate in the development and implementation of Individual Instruction and Support Plans (IISPs) for each participant.
- Monitor medication regimes and treatment compliance, and participate in ongoing program development and assessment.
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, or a counseling-related field.
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a clinician or case manager or residential provider.
- Washington State driver's license and insurable driving record required.
- Ability to obtain an NAR within 90 days of hire.
