Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide supervision for our clients, ensuring their safety while building a rapport with them. This includes providing assistance to each client in working with a group and handling individual problems, setting limits for behavior, and creating documentation of the clients' progress.
Responsibilities- Provide supervision for clients, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Assist clients in working with a group and handling individual problems
- Set limits for behavior and create documentation of clients' progress
- Identify potential need for professional services and communicate findings to professional staff
- Facilitate residential daily schedule, including participating in and providing support to residents
- Provide transportation to residents for community outings and meetings in a safe and legal manner
- Practice compliance with all policies, record keeping requirements, and assigned documentation
- H.S. Degree or GED required; bachelor's level degree in psychology, counseling, or sociology preferred
- Prior work experience in behavioral health treatment settings with adolescents a plus
- Valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage for driving company vehicles
