Key Responsibilities- Deliver Overall Brand Experience
- Direct and model 5.11's Ethos, Values, Mission, and Service standards to provide an elevated customer experience.
- Work closely with the 5.11 Tactical Merchandising Team to coordinate merchandising updates, identify opportunities, and support long-term strategies.
- Lead and delegate merchandise processing, replenishment, and recovery of sales floor to brand standards.
- Ensure all alterations and embellishments are executed according to department specs.
- Model an efficient and satisfying cash-wrap experience.
- Ensure housekeeping duties are completed to maintain a neat, clean, and professional store experience.
- Build Customer Relationships
- Create an environment that maintains a 100% focus on the customer.
- Model selling behaviors to build customer relationships and brand loyalty.
- Model and support the use of store tools and systems to nurture customer relationships.
- Develop and guide efforts to establish relationships with local public safety organizations.
- Achieve Results
- Accountable for store and individual sales goals.
- Help to attract, recruit, hire, and train high-caliber leadership team members and service specialists.
- Assist in assessing team performance and provide feedback using both informal and formal methods.
- Ensure all team members are working together to create a positive environment and help to resolve issues.
- Support the store manager with the execution of the store labor schedule.
- Help manage store controllable expenses.
- Protect the assets of the store through the implementation of loss prevention practices.
- Bachelor's Degree and/or 2-4 years of retail store supervisory experience in outdoor apparel and/or gear preferred.
- Ability to provide a superior customer experience and drive customer loyalty.
- Ability to assess talent and manage performance.
- Proven business acumen with strategic and analytical skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization.
- Must have flexibility in schedule to work evenings and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, lift, walk, and reach overhead.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
- Ability to use a POS system.
