Group Sales Director

NASCAR is seeking a highly motivated and organized Group Sales Manager to lead and drive ticket revenue. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of sales experience, preferably in a sports sales environment, and prior experience leading a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a high-performing Group Sales team at the track location.
- Develop and execute group sales programs to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Establish active communication and engagement with existing and new group sales accounts.
- Develop strong relationships with local colleges and universities for recruiting opportunities.
- Interview, hire, and train employees, and provide guidance and development opportunities.
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals.
- Compile reports and prepare presentations for track and corporate leadership.
- Create and execute group experiences at the track.
- Be on-site for race weekends to help the team execute all group sales initiatives.
- Assist with fan experiences and other race day operations as needed.
- Minimum two years of sales experience, preferably in a sports sales environment.
- Prior experience leading a team.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous CRM platform experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office skills required.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Passion for building and guiding the sales process.
The Group Sales Manager will work in an indoor office setting and outdoor conditions, including varying weather conditions, fumes, and noise. The position may require occasional travel.
