Director of Sales & Marketing

Residence Inn Saddle River seeks a seasoned sales and marketing professional to lead our revenue growth strategy. As Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for driving top-line revenue through strategic sales initiatives, staying ahead of market trends, and directing our sales teams to meet or exceed budgeted revenues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of market trends and competitive hotel environment
  • Manage the sales and marketing budget to support revenue attainment
  • Lead and direct the sales teams to meet or exceed budgeted revenues
  • Develop and implement a marketing communications plan to achieve desired positioning for the hotel
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • At least 3 years' experience as a sales leader, with prior hotel sales experience
  • Marriott experience is a plus and preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to direct, lead, train, motivate, and drive a direct sales team
