Position Overview

The Client Relationship Manager - Strategic Accounts plays a crucial role in fostering collaborative efforts across departments to implement effective account management strategies. This position is responsible for coordinating the delivery of value-added services, enhancing client relationships, and developing operational procedures that contribute to an outstanding client experience. The Manager will work closely with Shareholders and client service teams to ensure a seamless support model that strengthens relationships with our key clients.

This role involves managing 2-4 client accounts, supporting strategic initiatives, and liaising with clients' legal operations teams and other essential contacts.

Key Responsibilities

Client Service responsibilities include:

  • Advising Shareholders on the creation and execution of client-focused relationship development plans that align with strategic objectives and promote collaboration.
  • Gaining a comprehensive understanding of clients' industries and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for partnership.
  • Leading regular communications and meetings with the client team, providing updates on key metrics and client satisfaction.
  • Preparing and facilitating internal meetings and communications for the client account team.
  • Maintaining accurate client relationship data within firm systems.
  • Building relationships with clients' legal teams and other designated personnel.
  • Overseeing client-facing reports on various programs, including diversity initiatives and continuing education.
  • Coordinating client feedback efforts and collaborating with Shareholders to address any concerns.
  • Working with Marketing to enhance client experiences through events and programs.
  • Ensuring billing arrangements comply with clients' guidelines and managing pricing inputs for proposals.
  • Leading the onboarding process for new attorneys joining the client team.
  • Mentoring and managing assigned staff, addressing personnel matters and supporting professional growth.
  • Exemplifying high professional standards in client service.
  • Collaborating with other Client Relationship Managers to share knowledge and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in marketing and business development within a law firm or professional services environment.
