Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Account Management – Oversee the formulation and execution of strategic planning and process integration. Collaborate with project managers, account managers, and relevant departments to establish operational protocols, deliverables, and timelines, guiding the account from planning through strategic development to execution and budgeting. Ensure all critical client objectives and milestones are addressed while managing communication with all key stakeholders.
Quality Assurance and Growth – Guarantee impeccable execution of all client deliverables, whether they are creative, strategic, or otherwise, by effectively leading the agency team to produce the highest quality outcomes. Maintain accountability to both your team and clients, striving for excellence in deliverables. Provide ongoing strategic direction and clear business objectives to your team, ensuring robust project communication. Facilitate client approvals and feedback throughout the process, adeptly handling issue resolution and problem-solving. Insist on incorporating clear ROI/performance metrics into all programs and consistently demonstrate our value to clients. Be a vigilant financial steward, reviewing estimates, managing client budgets, and billing, while aiming to enhance client revenue and agency profitability.
Project Oversight – Deliver consistent and effective project management for all assigned clients, adhering to agency protocols while keeping clients informed of project status. Review all work—be it strategic, research, media, creative, or otherwise—before it is sent to clients to ensure all project requirements are met or exceeded. Ensure that communications are clear, concise, and comprehensive, and that status reports, budget recaps, and project reviews are completed promptly.
Integrated Service Delivery – Comprehend Brunner's operational model and lead your team in efficiently providing the appropriate level of service based on client needs. Consistently deliver on the agency's integrated service model. Guide your cross-functional team in developing and presenting neutral, fully integrated Marcom/Contact strategy plans that align with client goals while seamlessly delivering necessary agency services.
Client Insights – Collect and present vital information regarding the client's industry, market trends, competition, products, and services, while providing timely updates to both the client and the relevant agency team. Demonstrate a deep understanding of your client's business operations and continuously strive to introduce innovative ideas and strategic insights to position the agency as a trusted partner.
Relationship Development – Manage key day-to-day client relationships and begin to cultivate connections at higher levels within the client organization, showcasing your ability to service clients in a seamless and professional manner. Exhibit your problem-solving capabilities by thinking strategically about the client's business and consistently working to add value. Collaborate with your account team to develop and implement SWOT analyses, providing clear recommendations and action plans to management regarding your clients. Be proactive and accessible.
Performance Evaluation and Development – Utilize the prescribed Brunner performance plan process and participate in required agency training as directed by your supervisor. Show a consistent desire for growth by proactively expanding your knowledge and account responsibilities. Take initiative in crafting your annual performance plan to outline your growth aspirations within the organization, requesting and attending relevant training to foster personal career development. Mentor team members reporting to you to strengthen and enhance the agency's account management discipline.
