Overview

The Program Finance Manager is accountable for delivering financial support to the finance operations division. This role will assist management in the preparation and coordination of all financial data necessities, including the Annual Operating Plan, Budgets, Current Year Forecasts, and Estimate at Complete (EAC). The position collaborates with Operational leadership and Program Support departments to address all aspects of financial consolidation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial reporting, ensuring effective coordination between the finance operations team and operational leadership.
  • Develop and maintain Excel models to support efficient monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
  • Document and coordinate explanations for variance analysis.
  • Analyze trends and metrics to create automated solutions and enhance the financial reporting process.
  • Promote consistency in financial reporting processes by recommending best practices across various programs.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and prepare reports for both finance and operational leadership.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit requests with the finance operations team.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance is required.
  • Experience in Defense/government contract accounting is preferred.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and related financial applications.
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
  • Capability to manage ad-hoc assignments and unscheduled reporting.
  • Experience in preparing presentations for Senior Leadership and Board of Directors.

  • The starting salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
  • The following salary range reflects the company's base pay compensation and may be adjusted at the company's discretion:
    • USD $85k to $145k
  • The provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances across different regions in the United States.
