Responsibilities

Key Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive financial support for program operations, assisting management in the assembly and coordination of essential financial data, including Annual Operating Plans, Budgets, current forecasts, and Estimates at Complete (EAC). Collaborate with operational leadership and program support teams to ensure accurate financial consolidation and reporting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and consolidate financial reports, ensuring effective communication between the finance operations team and operational leaders.
  • Create and maintain Excel models to enhance monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes.
  • Document and coordinate explanations for variance analyses.
  • Examine trends and metrics to devise automated solutions and enhance financial reporting processes.
  • Promote consistency in financial reporting by recommending best practices across various programs.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and prepare reports for both finance and operational leadership.
  • Manage internal and external audit requests in collaboration with the finance operations team.
  • Oversee month-end closing activities for a portfolio of programs, including project controls.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years in accounting or finance roles.
  • Experience in defense or government contract accounting is preferred.

Skills & Technologies:

  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial software applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment such as personal computers, printers, and copiers.

  • The salary range provided reflects the company's base pay compensation and may be adjusted at the company's discretion.
  • Salary range: USD $75,000 - $110,000, subject to regional variations across the United States.
