Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial reporting, ensuring effective coordination between the finance operations team and operational leadership.
  • Create and maintain Excel models to support efficient monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
  • Document and coordinate explanations for variance analysis.
  • Examine trends and metrics to devise automated solutions and enhance processes for financial reporting.
  • Promote consistency in financial reporting practices by recommending best practices across various programs.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and prepare reports for both finance and operational leadership.
  • Manage internal and external audit requests in collaboration with the finance operations team.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Accounting/Finance.
  • Experience in Defense/government contract accounting is preferred.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and related financial software.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Capability to manage ad hoc assignments and unscheduled reporting.
  • Experience in preparing presentations for Senior Leadership and Board of Directors.
