Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Capital Campaigns team at The Salvation Army. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Corps Commanding Officer and the Capital Campaign Committee, ensuring the smooth execution of campaign activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide high-level administrative support to the Corps Commanding Officer and the Capital Campaign Committee, including preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with staff, volunteers, donors, and the public, ensuring professional and timely delivery of information.
  • Event Planning: Assist in planning and coordinating Capital Campaign events, including printing materials and managing logistics.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with the Campaign Steering Committee to support the identification and invitation of top corporations, foundations, and individuals.
  • Reporting: Create weekly and monthly reports regarding campaign progress.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively solve potential problems related to the campaign and implement solutions.
Requirements
  • Experience: One year of non-profit experience, with executive assistant experience preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, or Business Administration strongly preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
