FIRE SPRINKLER PROJECT SUPERVISOR
Responsible for the installation of fire suppression systems across various sectors including residential, commercial, and industrial facilities.
Engage in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automatic fire sprinkler systems along with associated equipment.

Leadership Role:
Direct, manage, and assign tasks to fitters and assistants to ensure project milestones are met, scheduling requirements are fulfilled, and objectives set by the fire sprinkler manager are surpassed.
Guarantee that project outcomes align with financial and productivity targets.
Accurately complete and manage necessary documentation, whether electronic or paper-based, as required by corporate management systems.
Ensure that all equipment, including specialized valves and fire pumps, is installed in strict adherence to manufacturer specifications.
Conduct and coordinate essential system testing and ensure all required certifications are obtained.
Provide instruction and training to Helpers, apprentices, or other personnel in the fundamental processes of service, repair, and/or system installation.
Maintain inventory on service vehicles.
Uphold and support the company's Mission Statement, Core Values, and Business Plan on a daily basis.
Prioritize Safety First.
# Ensure timely and thorough submission of Job Safety Analyses, Toolbox Talks, Audit Forms, etc.
# Take personal responsibility for all Safety Initiatives.
# Be accountable for Safe Operation of Company Vehicles.
# Promote awareness and support of Stop Work Authority.

Complete all Training Requirements – Safety, Certifications, etc.
Submit accurate Timesheets – including job numbers/names, overtime and travel pay, completed punctually, supporting the transition to electronic timesheet submission.
Ensure all required documents are complete, accurate, and professional, with necessary signatures.
Oversee proper Inventory Management – review, update, and approve packing slips – submitted promptly, ensuring effective material management.
Ensure proper Maintenance and care of equipment – vehicles, lifts, tools, etc.
Support and ensure adherence to Company Standard Operating Procedures – Purchase Orders, Change Orders, etc.
Strive for Customer Satisfaction and respond to feedback from Customer Satisfaction Surveys for improvement opportunities.
Maintain Quality Control to minimize the need for return visits and warranty work.
Foster Teamwork – maintain positive interactions within your team and local office.
Willingness to work overtime, travel, or be on-call as necessary.
Must possess knowledge of fire sprinkler piping systems, including fabrication of related piping and understanding of various materials and applicable joining methods.
Comprehend fire protection installation requirements.
Ability to accurately interpret fire protection blueprints.
Completion of the American Fire Sprinkler Association training program designed for fire sprinkler supervisors is preferred.
State Backflow testing and repair certification is preferred.
Forklift and scissor lift certification is preferred.

Work Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a fire sprinkler helper is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a fire sprinkler apprentice/fitter is preferred.
Maintain vehicle and tools in accordance with company policy.

Ability to interact and communicate in a professional and positive manner with other trades, customers, project managers, county officials, general contractors, etc.

Complete projects efficiently while delivering the highest standard of quality work and customer satisfaction.
