We are seeking a highly skilled Information System Security Specialist to join our growing team. This position will play a vital role in ensuring the security of our clients' sensitive information and systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive support as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO).
  • Implement and enforce robust security policies and practices aligned with DIA and DOD/IC guidelines.
  • Develop and manage user access controls to ensure appropriate security clearances, authorizations, and need-to-know principles are adhered to.
  • Monitor security systems and incident reports, promptly escalating any potential threats or vulnerabilities to DIA managers.
  • Conduct thorough research and implement protective or corrective measures in response to discovered security incidents or vulnerabilities.
  • Develop comprehensive system recovery processes to ensure the restoration of security features and procedures following disruptions.
  • Integrate security requirements into all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Adhere to established procedures for authorizing software, hardware, and firmware before implementation on systems.
  • Define security requirements for data science model lifecycles (e.g., AI/ML Ops) and streamline processes for ATO certification.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Active Top-Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility.
  • 10+ years of proven experience supporting DIA Cyber and Security Front Door, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Approval to Operate (ATO) processes.
  • Extensive experience utilizing Xacta and a successful track record of completing end-to-end RMF processes, obtaining ATO certificates for multiple systems.
  • Deep understanding of DIA, DOD/IC system functions, security policies, technical safeguards, and operational security measures.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing security plans or packages for assessment and authorization of IT systems, including the implementation and evaluation of cybersecurity controls.
  • Experience conducting assessments, periodic testing of information systems security requirements, evaluating current security posture, and providing recommendations for remediation. This includes experience with self-assessment and corrective action processes.
