Job Summary

CompQsoft is seeking a highly skilled Facility Security Officer to join our team. As a Facility Security Officer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a security program that complies with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Program Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive security program that meets the requirements of NISPOM and other relevant regulations.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with security regulations and identify potential risks to the organization's sensitive and classified information.
  • Personnel Security: Support personnel security clearance processes, including background investigations and clearance requirements.
  • Security Training and Orientation: Provide security orientation to new employees, including badging, clearance requirements, and reporting requirements.
  • Incident Response: Prepare and submit reports of security incidents, violations, and personnel reporting requirements.
  • Government Compliance: Coordinate with government clients and the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) for security inspections, prepare for and support government inspections, and review and audit security programs.
  • Contract Management: Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Statements of Work (SOW), and prepare proposal guidance for classified contracts.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare written or narrative reports of facility assessment findings and self-inspections for reporting to DCSA.
Requirements
  • Experience: Five years of experience as a Facility Security Officer.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Certification: Completion of CDSE FSO Certification.
  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of CFR 32 Part 117, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and associated industrial security regulations, policies, and regulations.
  • Systems: Experience with government systems, including DISS, NCAISS, e-APP, NBIS, and SWFT databases.
  • Citizenship: US Citizen.
  • Clearance: Active TS clearance.
