Insurance Customer Service Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Allco Fullerton Insurance Agency. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our policyholders, resolving billing issues, amending policies, and making policy suggestions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, potential clients, and companies we represent
- Support teammates with follow-up for clients and prospects
- Research and resolve coverage questions
- Promptly respond to client needs
- Maintain client files and process routine correspondence
- Cultivate new opportunities and offer additional lines of insurance through consultative selling
- Assist with other office duties as needed
- Contact clients for concerns or complaints, provide solutions, and monitor the situation
- Track current marketing activities and respond to insurance-related inquiries
- Make accurate modifications to consumer policies
- Keep track of customer inquiries and follow up to verify questions are answered
- Confirm client insurance coverage and provide evidence of insurance papers
Requirements:
- Fluency in Spanish, written and spoken
- Ability to live within driving distance of our office location in Fullerton, CA, and have appropriate means of transportation
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a calculator
- Type quickly and accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Organized, structured, punctual, and will follow the rules
- Patient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical, and honest
- Property and Casualty license preferred (required within the first 60 days of employment)
- Previous experience working within the insurance industry is a bonus
- Possesses basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and customer database systems
- High school diploma or GED equivalent needed
- A general understanding of insurance policies and schedules is preferred
- Excellent active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Prior work in a customer-facing position or customer service role is required
