We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Allco Fullerton Insurance Agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Resolve billing issues, amend policies, and offer policy suggestions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Generate policy quotes and provide coverage advice to new and potential customers.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, potential clients, and represented companies through effective communication.
  • Support teammates with follow-up on client and prospect interactions.
  • Research and resolve coverage questions to ensure accurate policy information.
  • Maintain client files and process routine correspondence between our agency and clients or companies.
  • Cultivate new opportunities and offer additional lines of insurance through consultative selling.
  • Assist with other office duties as needed.
  • Contact clients for concerns or complaints, provide solutions, and monitor the situation to ensure resolution.
  • Track current marketing activities to respond to insurance-related inquiries.
  • Make accurate modifications to consumer policies based on provided information.
  • Verify that all customer inquiries are answered regarding policy details.
  • Confirm client insurance coverage and provide evidence of insurance papers to policyholders.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Spanish, written and spoken.
  • Ability to work in an in-person setting, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a calculator.
  • Quick and accurate typing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized, structured, punctual, and rule-following.
  • Patient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical, and honest.
  • Property and Casualty license preferred, with the ability to obtain within the first 60 days of employment.
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry is a bonus, but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and customer database systems.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A general understanding of insurance policies and schedules is preferred.
  • Excellent active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Prior work in a customer-facing position or customer service role is required.
