Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Services Manager to join our team at Daifuku. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing technical projects at various airport locations across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage and supervise the technical services field team to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth and development.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coordinate the field team. Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure team members meet project goals and adhere to safety and quality standards.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, safety standards, and technical requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory and procurement of materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and address technical challenges, delays, or other issues that may affect project progress.
  • Communication: Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and milestones.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in technical project management or a related field, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Education: An Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent time management and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrated technical expertise in construction or engineering projects, with strong leadership and communication skills.
  • OSHA Certification: OSHA 30 course completion.
  • Welding and Fabrication: Welding, fabricating or machine shop experience.
