Breast Oncology Sales Manager

Position Overview:
The Breast Oncology Sales Manager serves as the representative of Daiichi Sankyo to designated clients.
This role involves promoting the assigned product and its approved indications, delivering authorized disease state and product information, and providing resources to healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Represent the assigned products to healthcare professionals within the designated sales territory.
2. Achieve or surpass sales targets through effective promotion of the assigned product's features and benefits to targeted clients.
3. Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies.
4. Utilize knowledge of the healthcare sector, industry trends, applicable regulations, market conditions, and the market access landscape (including pharmacy economics, payer reimbursement, and patient flow/influence among academic institutions, hospitals, and community practices).
6. Analyze customer needs and interests, territory performance, program outcomes, and business trends; develop and execute business plans that maximize the commercial potential of our products.
8. Complete all assigned training.
9. Act as a disease state expert, providing high-level product knowledge and customer service for all accounts.
11. Build relationships with Daiichi Sankyo's customer base and key opinion leaders, effectively communicating product approved indications, features, and benefits in both individual and group settings.
12. Meet all administrative expectations and standards, including budget management, reporting, and communication.
13. Maintain an updated key customer target list, submit regular updates to the customer database, and plan calls to achieve goals.
14. Review territorial reports with the District Manager and learn to utilize reports and databases as tools to achieve assigned objectives.
16. Maintain all equipment and territorial records in accordance with prescribed standards.
17. Utilize sales force automation systems and other tools to enhance the effectiveness of sales calls and territory management.
18. Adhere to compliance and operational principles and expectations.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will meet the qualifications outlined below, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree required
Experience:
4 or more years of sales/marketing experience in the pharmaceutical or medical industry required
4 or more years of oncology therapeutic experience strongly preferred
1 or more years of additional therapeutic experience in diverse roles – training, marketing, market access preferred
Oncology product launch experience preferred
Co-promotion experience is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Must be able to travel approximately 40% to 60%
Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company standards
Compensation and seniority level/title will be based on experience and qualifications.
