Procurement Supervisor

Compensation: $60,000 - $68,000 per year (Depending on Experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement activities including preparation, purchasing, expediting, bid analysis, and invoice auditing for manufactured equipment and bulk materials.
  • Oversee all aspects of subcontracts, including firm fixed price (FFP) and indefinite quantity (IQ), with a projected annual value exceeding $10M.
  • Collaborate with Project Coordinators on IQ subcontracts to manage procurement processes, including RFP formulation, subcontract creation, bid analysis, and client billing.
  • Work alongside the Production Manager on FFP contracts to manage the full subcontract cycle, including RFP and PO formulation.
  • Supervise purchasing of equipment and parts using the Maximo system, ensuring the completion of the Purchase Order cycle.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing digital data and forms, ensuring compliance with procurement regulations.
  • Coordinate with Supply Technicians to resolve any issues related to receipts and invoicing.
  • Ensure all procurement activities are accurately recorded in Maximo and Workday.
  • Maintain professionalism in interactions with coworkers and customers.
  • Exhibit a high degree of professional integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in purchasing, procurement, and subcontracting.
  • Experience in federal purchasing and subcontracting, including familiarity with FAR/DFAR rules.
  • Procurement and inventory management experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) preferred.
  • Industry procurement or purchasing certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must be able to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time, with or without assistance:

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • May require reaching, kneeling, walking, standing, and repetitive motion for several hours.
  • Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure.

Requirements:

  • A valid state driver's license is required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain installation access credentials.
  • Background checks and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
