Position Overview:
The Stroke Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing data for patients diagnosed with neurological conditions. This position involves maintaining data programs, care pathways, and protocols to ensure the effectiveness of the Neuroscience program.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to facilitate patient care and resource utilization.
- Participate in patient education and clinical care delivery as required.
- Ensure the implementation of discharge plans and systematically collect data to identify trends for performance improvement.
- Assist in the development and execution of hospital and community education programs related to neuroscience.

Qualifications:
- Must possess a current Texas State RN license or a compact license.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- A minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience is required, with a focus on emergency room settings being essential.
