**Job Summary**

VHC Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Surgical Scheduler/Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of patient care services.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and procedures in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide exceptional patient experience by greeting and registering patients, answering phone calls, and responding to patient inquiries.
  • Coordinate insurance verifications and preauthorizations to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and charts.
  • Provide administrative support to physicians, practice managers, and clinical staff as needed.

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Two years of office/clerical experience required; two years of healthcare/medical experience preferred.
