Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Access Coordinator to join our team at Progression Incorporated. This role is essential in enhancing the efficiency and workflow of our Benefits Investigation team.


Key Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR Coordination or as an HR Generalist.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Billing or Insurance, preferably with Medicaid.
  • Proficiency in any EMR software for effective case management.
  • Outstanding organizational and scheduling abilities.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

The Patient Access Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that patients gain access to necessary products. Key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving and processing verification requests from the sales team and clients, ensuring the accuracy of patient information.
  • Implementing a streamlined process for verification of benefits.
  • Safeguarding confidential patient health information (PHI) throughout the verification process.
  • Managing case creation and conducting outbound calls as required.
  • Maintaining the accuracy of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Overseeing the Reimbursement email inbox and addressing general inquiries.
  • Supporting Patient Access Specialists in processing cases efficiently.
  • Completing administrative tasks as assigned within the Customer Operations Department.
  • Upholding a high standard of work quality to facilitate patient access to treatment through timely and accurate case management.
