Job Title: National Accounts Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled National Accounts Manager to join our team at Emerald Resource Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and building business relationships with new and existing national account customers to maintain or increase demand for our products within our client's markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by analyzing market trends and untapped segments.
  • Drive organic growth with current customers by understanding key challenges and acting as a consultative partner.
  • Meet with customers to demonstrate product value, train, and educate them on product usage.
  • Research and monitor market trends, competitors' sales activities, and consumer needs.
  • Develop and execute sales plans consistent with the commercial strategy.
  • Use CRM to maintain customer records and manage the opportunity pipeline.
  • Utilize data analytics tools, such as Tableau, to identify growth opportunities, improve efficiency, and make strategic decisions.
  • Develop deep and wide relationships within customers' organizational structures, focusing on strategic relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Negotiate contracts.
  • Participate in performance reviews, annual sales meetings, and ongoing training and development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive sales and key account development experience.
  • Significant overnight travel and frequent in-person customer visits required.
  • Knowledge/Experience in the work truck industry preferred, particularly with national accounts in retail, e-retail, and/or wholesale spaces.
  • Proven negotiating experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • High technical proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to efficiently use data analytics and related tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
  • Highly organized and skilled in time management.
  • Ability to present to large groups across various customer types.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
