Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development/New Account Sales professional to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing new business, prospecting, setting sales appointments, meeting sales quotas, identifying customer needs, and having a general understanding of mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Closing sales by focusing on customer concerns and consistently moving the customer towards commitment
  • Meeting required sales volume and sales margin quotas
  • Inspiring others with drive and motivation to sell aggressively
  • Setting a comfortable tone and encouraging open communication, listening attentively and actively
  • Developing new account prospects through networking, referrals, and cold calling
  • Presenting key selling points, features, and benefits while focusing on customer needs and expectations
  • Tracking record of successful customer negotiation at the executive level, establishing common ground and focusing on win-win outcomes while gaining concessions and protecting organizational interests
  • Working with sales organizations to achieve and exceed their sales goals
  • Presenting a professional, positive image that reflects well on the organization
  • Self-motivated with the ability to create new opportunities and respond to existing opportunities throughout the market
  • Clear written and verbal communication
