Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. As an HVAC Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for developing new business, prospecting, setting sales appointments, meeting sales quotas, identifying customer needs, and having a general understanding of mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Closing sales by focusing on customer concerns and consistently moving the customer towards commitment
  • Meeting required sales volume and sales margin quotas
  • Inspiring others with drive and motivation to sell aggressively
  • Setting a comfortable tone and encouraging open communication, listening attentively and actively
  • Developing new account prospects through networking, referrals, and cold calling
  • Presenting key selling points, features, and benefits while focusing on customer needs and expectations
  • Tracking record of successful customer negotiation at the executive level, establishing common ground and focusing on win-win outcomes while gaining concessions and protecting organizational interests
  • Working with sales organizations to achieve and exceed their sales goals
  • Presenting a professional, positive image that reflects well on the organization
  • Being self-motivated with the ability to create new opportunities and respond to existing opportunities throughout the market
  • Having clear written and verbal communication
