Job Summary

San Antonio Shoemakers is seeking a highly skilled and organized Real Estate and Property Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Store Development team, you will provide critical support to our senior leadership team and be responsible for a wide range of administrative and paralegal tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date lease databases and abstracts.
  • Assist in the preparation and follow-up of lease offers and amendments.
  • Coordinate with property managers to ensure smooth move-ins and move-outs.
  • Track and update key lease and real estate contract dates and deadlines.
  • Prepare and send annual renewal letters and notices.
  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical lease files.
  • Work closely with our Real Estate Manager/Broker to facilitate the execution of lease documents.
  • Process legal documents under the supervision of our Corporate Counsel.
  • Provide administrative support to our Store Development team.
  • Communicate effectively with stores and vendors on outstanding issues.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as required.

Requirements

  • Two to four years of experience as an Administrative Assistant to senior leadership teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and other company systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some college coursework.
  • Experience writing and editing legal contracts.
  • Paralegal certification or training.
  • Fluency in Spanish.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in a stationary position.
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for at least 8 hours a day.
  • Required to have close visual acuity to perform tasks.
  • Must be able to lift 20lbs occasionally.
