Service Representative

Overview:
A leading automotive repair center and tire dealer, Affordable Tire & Brake Co. has been dedicated to building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional workmanship for over 20 years.
The Sales and Service Advisor plays a crucial role in promoting all products and services offered by Affordable Tire & Brake by adhering to the company's store standards and expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner, both in person and over the phone, utilizing the company's standardized customer service techniques.
- Service Needs Assessment: Listen to and thoroughly document customer concerns, inspect vehicles, and refer to service history to accurately identify and verify customer service needs.
- Service Recommendations: Recommend services based on appropriate knowledge, clearly communicate additional recommendations from the Automotive Technician to the customer, and properly document all recommendations in the customer file.
- Sales Promotion: Promote the sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by demonstrating an understanding of the product and associated service requirements.
- Quote and Update: Provide customers with accurate quotes, including cost and time of completion, for approved services, and provide updates throughout the day on the status of their services.
- Cash Handling: Follow proper procedures when cashing out a customer's ticket, including a review of the completed multi-point inspection and explanation of applicable warranties.
- Follow-up: Conduct post-repair and declined services follow-up phone calls to ensure customer satisfaction for all individual customers.
- Tracking and Reporting: Track all new returns, core returns, and warranty parts for individual customers.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a Service Advisor is helpful, but not required
- Professional appearance and proven ability to work in a process-driven environment
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Ability to work a minimum of five days per week
