We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Admitting Representative to join our team at Providence St Vincent Medical Center. As a key member of our Revenue Cycle team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of patient accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and verify complex demographic, insurance, and medical information from patients and their families.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information in our electronic health record system.
- Work closely with our clinical teams to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to patient accounts.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and guidelines related to revenue cycle management.
- Associate's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.
- National Certification of CHAA upon hire.
- 3 years of experience in Patient Access or a related field.
- 3 years of utilization of medical terminology in a job setting.
- 1 year of knowledge of Epic applications.
