Northbound Search is representing a distinguished Private Equity Fund in their search for a Financial Manager to oversee the comprehensive management of their middle-market private equity funds. This organization is recognized as a frontrunner in the industry, offering a collaborative environment where you will engage with various functional teams, including the front office/deal team, valuations, investor relations, and interact closely with C-suite executives.
Position Overview:
- Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports for multiple private equity funds, including year-end audits.
- Manage and supervise the quarterly valuation processes for Level III investments.
- Conduct investment performance analytics and collaborate with the Investor Relations team.
- Participate in fundraising initiatives and support deal closure activities.
- Calculate capital calls and distributions in conjunction with the fund administrator.
- Engage with third-party service providers, including servicers, administrators, auditors, and tax consultants, to facilitate financing processes, including quarterly covenant compliance and capital borrowing.
- Execute complex waterfall calculations.
- Provide mentorship and oversight to Fund Accountants.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting; CPA designation is preferred.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in Fund Accounting and/or Auditing Fund Clients.
