Gen II Fund Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Executive Director of Private Equity Fund Administration to lead our team in managing private equity fund clients. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple sponsors, reviewing work product to ensure quality of client deliverables, and managing your team to improve efficiency and ensure timeliness of all client deliverables.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management: Lead, direct, train, and coach a team of Directors and/or Associate Directors to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, including Limited Partnership Agreements and summarizing sections relevant to accounting, commenting/summarizing items that need to be addressed with the client or the client's legal team.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee multiple sponsors, review work product to ensure quality of client deliverables, and manage your team to improve efficiency and ensure timeliness of all client deliverables.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance: Ensure that billing is done in accordance with service agreements and out-of-scope projects are identified and properly billed.
- Professional Development: Mentor, train, and develop team members to support internal team growth and participate in firm-wide trainings.
- Experience: 12+ years of fund accounting experience in either a Private Equity Fund, Private Equity Fund Administrator, or other financial institution where the candidate has gained PE financial products knowledge.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Skills: Advanced knowledge of types of reporting for investment funds/investment companies and investors in US GAAP and IFRS, ability to learn on-the-job quickly, apply learning to clients, and recommend solutions to issues.
- Leadership and Management: Strong leadership skills and management skills, ability to think independently, prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Technical Skills: Extensive Microsoft suite skills - Excel (pivots), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
The salary range for this position is $180,000-$250,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. The actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate's experience level.
