Job Overview

As the Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, you will serve as a key liaison between the manufacturing site and its supply chain, focusing on fostering continuous improvement initiatives and striving for a culture centered around defect prevention.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties
  • Collaborating with site teams and suppliers to implement effective Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) for quality issues linked to suppliers.
  • Overseeing process enhancements and qualifications with supplier partners.
  • Formulating and executing a comprehensive Supplier Quality strategy in partnership with Sourcing, Operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Adapting the organization to remain proficient, modern, and ahead of evolving business demands.
  • Conducting Product Qualification/Validation, Supplier Quality Assurance, and Supplier Quality Development.
  • Managing supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance assessments, and guiding key suppliers towards operational excellence.
  • Ensuring compliance of suppliers with quality standards (both product and system).
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, strategic roadmaps, risk assessments, and recommendations for senior management.
  • Effectively communicating solutions across our function and with cross-functional partner organizations.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing experience) AND
  • At least 3 years of experience in supplier quality management.
