Position Overview:
This role is designed for a seasoned Chemical Engineer tasked with enhancing processes across manufacturing, pilot plants, and laboratory settings.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop methodologies and strategies to transition new products and processes from laboratory to pilot and full-scale manufacturing.
2. Acquire technical proficiency in pilot and manufacturing processes to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing safety, cost efficiency, quality, and capacity.
3. Initiate and conduct production trials and tests across laboratory, pilot, and manufacturing scales, employing design of experiment methodologies as applicable.
4. Address daily operational challenges by collaborating with operations and maintenance teams to resolve issues.

Collaboration:
Work alongside colleagues in cross-functional teams, including technology, manufacturing, business units, HSES, and other departments to propel process improvement initiatives, growth programs, and business objectives.

Project Leadership:
Lead projects and develop trials and experiments across laboratory, pilot plant, and manufacturing settings.

Communication:
Ensure timely updates to management and project stakeholders by articulating project needs, value, priorities, and decisions to guarantee project success.

Qualifications:
Required Degree:
BS in Chemical Engineering with relevant experience in piloting and manufacturing process development or improvement.
Demonstrated commitment to high safety and environmental standards.
Experience in pilot plant support and scaling processes from small to plant-scale equipment is preferred.
Exhibit strong leadership qualities and behaviors.
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset, capable of driving complex projects forward amidst uncertainties.
Comfortable challenging peers and supervisors to foster innovative solutions.
Proven ability to engage effectively with technicians, peers, and management.
Exceptional written, listening, and verbal communication skills.
