Job Overview

As the Senior Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer, you will act as a pivotal link between the rotating part facility and its supply chain partners, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and striving for excellence in quality.

Key Responsibilities

Core Duties
  • Collaborating with site teams and suppliers to implement effective Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes for quality issues related to suppliers.
  • Overseeing enhancements and validations in supplier processes.
  • Formulating and executing a comprehensive Supplier Quality strategy in partnership with Sourcing, Operations, and other key stakeholders.
  • Adapting the organization to remain proficient, modern, and ahead of market demands.
  • Conducting Product Qualification/Validation, Supplier Quality Assurance, and Supplier Quality Development initiatives.
  • Executing supplier qualifications, developing action plans, conducting audits, monitoring performance, and guiding key suppliers towards operational excellence.
  • Ensuring compliance of suppliers with quality standards (both product and system).
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create project plans, strategic roadmaps, risk assessments, and recommendations for senior management.
  • Effectively communicating solutions within the function and across partner organizations.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of manufacturing experience) AND
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in supplier quality management.
