Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to support our enterprise-class, mission-critical systems and platforms. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our systems, providing technical support to application teams, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain physical and virtual server and storage environments.
  • Test, upgrade, and deploy server and storage platforms while ensuring compliance with change management and security protocols.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to the enterprise server and storage platforms, identifying and resolving issues to maintain high performance and optimal user experience.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the enterprise server and storage platform services, including administration, maintenance, operations, and troubleshooting.
  • Stay informed of related technology, recommending future system enhancements to improve supportability and reliability.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business, or other related field; formal technical training or equivalent experience.
  • 3 or more years of in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience within large-scale, enterprise server and storage environments.
  • Hands-on experience supporting enterprise hardware, including Windows Server 2022 and 2019, RHEL, VMWare ESXi or Nutanix AHV administration, SAN administration and maintenance, Logicmonitor and Splunk, Active Directory administration, including Group Policy, DFS, and Certificate Services, scripting in Powershell, Bash, and Python, and knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs.
  • Preferred: Technical IT certifications or experience with related technologies, such as AzureAD/Entra, VMware (VCTA, VCP, VCAP) and Nutanix (NCA, NCP, NPX). Additionally, familiarity with ITIL processes and knowledge of the SAFe / Agile framework are desirable.
