Quality Improvement Nurse Job Description

Nursing Education is seeking a skilled Quality Improvement Nurse to join our team. As a Quality Improvement Nurse, you will play a critical role in monitoring nursing performance and developing plans to improve nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor nursing performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement plans to improve nursing care
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop new guidelines and policies
  • Track the success of quality improvement initiatives
  • Lobby for upgrades to medical equipment and computer software
Requirements:
  • Experience as a registered nurse (RN)
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze patient charts and data
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Specialty certification or advanced degree preferred
