Position Overview:
Laboratory Service Inc is looking for a Senior Vice President of Product Strategy to lead its product initiatives. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our innovative health solutions aimed at improving the health and well-being of women and their families. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, you will be tasked with enhancing our product portfolio by devising a unique product strategy and executing that vision to meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the product strategy and vision for Laboratory Service Inc, overseeing product development, management, and marketing.
- Define and develop next-generation products and services tailored for our clients and the consumers they serve.
- Guide and inspire a diverse team of product managers, UX specialists, designers, and engineers to foster innovation and growth.
- Establish and refresh the vision and direction of our offerings to ensure alignment with market demands.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap that aligns with business objectives, market trends, and customer needs.
- Accountable for delivering products and services that meet revenue, profitability, and retention targets.
- Identify opportunities to broaden our solutions for existing and prospective clients.
- Utilize research and insights to inform product development and expansion strategies.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business goals and customer insights, acting as the final decision-maker on project prioritization.
- Define pricing models and conduct financial assessments to ensure product success.
- Foster a strong product culture emphasizing rapid testing, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
- Contribute to the leadership team, working alongside peers to advance our digital health solutions.
- Partner with various teams to deliver innovative health solutions that benefit our clients and their members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Over 8 years of experience leading a healthcare-related business or operation.
- More than 15 years of product or service management experience within the healthcare sector.
- Proven collaborative leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams and building strong partnerships.
- Experience in developing strategic plans and executing product roadmaps successfully.
- Experience with P&L accountability.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the digital health sector.
