Position Summary:
We are seeking a Manager in Technical Accounting who is intellectually curious and adept at devising innovative solutions to intricate business problems. This role is pivotal in executing finance projects that enhance value within our clients' finance, accounting, and operational sectors.
Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct complex transaction analyses, including IPOs, M&A, and other financial transactions.
- Understand and apply technical accounting principles, FASB, and SEC regulations to meet client deadlines and deliverables.
- Analyze and conclude on generally accepted accounting principles, consulting with senior management as necessary.
- Supervise and mentor staff at all levels, contributing to performance evaluations and training initiatives.
- Cultivate workplace culture and uphold a code of conduct.
- Foster client relationships to create additional engagement opportunities through quality service delivery.
- Support growth initiatives through market research and networking.
- Provide value to clients through detailed revenue analysis and financial statement preparation.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of 7 years of public accounting and industry experience, with at least 3 years in public accounting.
- Proven supervisory experience in a team setting.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required; CPA license is preferred.
- Familiarity with a wide range of industries, including technology and life sciences.
- Professional demeanor with a strong passion for technical accounting.
- Detail-oriented, disciplined, and capable of motivating teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Aptitude for technical accounting research and a desire for continuous learning.
- Ability to act as a primary client contact and lead engagements.
- Knowledge of IFRS or other international accounting standards is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
